Whenever one of them sings a song, it's 90% decided that it is going to be a HIT! Listening music has always been my top priority, no matter what. At times I have been critical about most of the singers but somehow these five have always been on the top.
Topping the chart is this brilliantly trained singer who has surprised everyone after his first step in the bollywood. Everyone thought of him as a classical singer when he started his bollywood career and many composers were dubious if he would be a success. But his 8 hours personal practice with harmonium polished his singing skills like anything. He belongs to a family of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Well, no words for the man himself. He made his debut in the bollywood in 2004 with Man ki Lagan from the movie Paap. After that there was no stopping to this juggernaut. One hit after the other, he kept on rising and rising. He must be somewhere on 18th cloud now a days. Undoubtedly there is no matching to the kind of talent he possesses.
Well I couldn't put both of them separately. No no not for any naughty reasons but both are not eligible for the top spot and I can't miss any of them from the top five list. Sukhwinder on one hand is an experienced (with bollywood) while Javed Ali has just got a break. Both are well trained singer and now a days having a great buzz in the industry. While Sukhwinder's all time favorite is "Chayia Chayia" and Javed's "Tu meri adhoori pyas pyas" but I am sure there's lot more to come out from their musical-sack.
Woh chali woh chali- Who hasn't heard this? Well you have no rights to call yourself a Hindi music fan if the answer to the question asked is NO. I still can't believe it took him 13 years to get a real break. Bombay Vikings was formed in 1994. No doubt, it rocked both Indian and International audiences. But this man couldn't get what he deserved back then. But after his perpetual dedication, he finally got a break with a song "Bhool bhulayia" in 2007 and after that there was a volley of hits by him. His latest "Papa jag jayega" became hot-favorite in clubs and discos across the country within no time.
Well, the badshah of high scale. Music directors just love to work with this chap. After all who doesn't love smooth and soothing singing. Be it the scenes of grunge, hip-hop, jock-jams, bubble-gum pop, the boy-band craze, rocking tracks or romantic music, he is the master of all traits. Try any song with him and he'll enchant your ears to a great deal. I personally used to listen to Pal's songs before hitting the sack and till date he's my favorite. He is personally at number on my list but since there are more prominent singers that have popped out in 2010.
Hate him or like him. Well if you would start looking at what he does in real life, you would probably end up in disliking him. But think about this for a sec, don't you love his songs. From his first album "Sawan Mein Lag Gayee Aag" to latest bollywood numbers he seems to have convinced everyone that despite his Gunda looks and behaviour, he has what it takes to be a true voice of the nation. We all have danced like crazy on Maujan hi maujan and how can we forget legendary "Singh is kinng" title song. Now a days, he is putting in some sincere efforts in learning more and more classical music and undoubtedly the improvement can be seen by the amount of work he is getting.
